WWD 2021 begins 3/19/2021, virtually, via YouTube Live.  Activities are planned for the entire weekend, with some wonderful demonstrators, special programs and retrospectives.so you might want to take a look.

 

Several Lucid Woodturners members are among those participating to kick off the activities, highlighting woodturning.

  • Andy Chen, has been coordinating the woodturners for WWD since 2013, and has organized our participation
  • Mike Mahoney is demonstrating tonight (Friday) and Saturday
  • Lauren and Alan Zenreich are demonstrating early Saturday morning
  • Joanne Sauvageau is demonstrating Saturday and Sunday

Unlike the demos we do for woodturning clubs, the demonstrations are likely be geared to the general public, not to a knowledgeable woodturning audiences, so you might want to share the YouTube link with those interested in wood related topics.
