In Session #2, I will make the collar, finial, and pedestal for the Tall Lidded Vessel. I will reveal all of my "secrets" to Fine Finials. Learn how I design a Finial to fit the Vessel, the accurate spindle cuts that I use, and my Finial turning process. The vessel has a collar at the opening, and a pedestal base, made from separate pieces of wood. These accent pieces can be made of natural wood, or colored to suit the vessel's coloring.
